I treated myself to a Japanese head spa. It’s different than a hair spa because it focuses on the scalp not just your hair. Casi (pronounced Kay-see) Croll did my treatment. She was knowledgeable and attentive, and made adjustments to the treatment accordingly. I enjoyed chatting with her as well about general hair health and products. She is open-minded, friendly and honest. I really appreciated that. Overall it was very relaxing. Loved the gentle water “halo” rinses. I was impressed by how healthy my scalp looked at the end. I don’t use much product and have generally good hair, but this was a good clean up for environmental build up, dryness, etc. the ‘goody’ bag is a nice touch. I did have to remind her about giving me a hair wrap at the end, and she forgot to give me the Merl Norman samples they set aside for me. I hope they start offering options for the eye patch. I found it too warm. The temperature is not adjustable and a cooling option should be available for people who run hot. It’s also healthier to use cooler or room temp water when possible.

I got a Japanese head spa done by April here. I had been looking this service ever since I saw it on social media. It did not disappoint. They show you an up close view of your scalp before and after. They really clean and massage your scalp thoroughly. They massage your face, neck, and shoulders too. I will definitely be back!!

I went for the 90-minute scalp massage this week and is was the most relaxing/luxurious experience of my life. Not only was the massage great on my scalp, shoulders, and face, but all the products they used smelled absolutely amazing. I went in just for relaxation, but the before and after picture of my scalp really surprised me. I had some product build up around my hair follicles and some redness I didn't even realize was there. One treatment completely cleared up those two issues. Absolutely phenomenal experience!
