I was gifted a visit to Renew Head Spa in Philadelphia for my 40th birthday, and it turned out to be one of the most thoughtful and relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. I had the scalp detox, head massage, and deep conditioning treatment—and each one was more amazing than the last. The scalp detox left my head feeling so clean and light, and it even helped with some lingering dryness I’ve had for months. The head massage was next level. It was the kind of deep relaxation that clears your mind and makes you forget what stress even feels like. I could have stayed there forever. And the deep conditioning treatment made my hair feel ridiculously soft and healthy. I left the spa not only feeling relaxed but also looking like I just stepped out of a hair commercial. I could not believe the difference from the before and after photos! The staff was warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. If you’re looking for the perfect treat for yourself or someone you love—this is it. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate a milestone birthday.

When you first walk in, the space is beautiful, clean and relaxing. When they take you back to the spa area, they have you change into a top cover up and comfy slippers. During the experience they massage your shoulders, scalp and face a little bit. The warm water on your scalp and shoulders feels great! This is one of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had and will certainly be returning. The coolest part is when they use a high resolution camera to show you the health of your scalp before and after the treatment. My scalp is so much cleaner and my hair feels so much healthier too! You have the option of a blow out hair dry at the end for extra charge which I highly recommend as well. This is the best head spa in Philly and is a great gift idea as well. The staff were also very kind, professional and helpful through out the experience. I LOVED my time here and highly recommend checking them out!

I had the most incredible experience at Renew Head Spa! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean, beautiful, and relaxing the space was. The atmosphere immediately put me at ease. The massage was absolutely amazing—one of the best I’ve ever had. Every movement felt intentional, soothing, and deeply relaxing. On top of that, the hair treatment left my scalp refreshed and my hair soft, shiny, and healthy. Everything about my visit was perfect—the professionalism, the attention to detail, and the overall care made it a truly luxurious experience. I highly recommend Renew Head Spa to anyone looking to unwind, feel pampered, and leave with both their mind and hair feeling renewed.

Wish I would've found this place sooner! The neck and shoulder massage during the scalp cleanse was heavenly, and the head massage itself was deeply stimulating and relaxing. I added on the 30 minute lower leg and foot massage and was it worth it! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to destress and prioritize their scalp health. It was a complete self-care ritual, and I'll definitely be returning for another treatment. Can't wait for Ratna to work her magic again!

I booked the Refresh hair/scalp treatment. My technician was Jessica. It was an hour so relaxing that I actually dozed off during the service. It included, scalp analysis to begin with and after service. Also the waterfall halo experience, deep cleansing shampoo, head and neck massage, herbal steaming, deep conditioning, hot stone arm and hand massage, and a foot massage that was an extra add-on(fall special per their Instagram profile). I opted for a light blow dry. I recommend to bring your own preferred leave-in conditioner/detangler and detangler brush.I give it a 9 out of 10 only because the extra charge for the merchant card machine usage and staff comfortability with ethnic hair. Try it out for a self-care treat day.
